Thinking about... Our chiropractor lost his 17 year old daughter the end of last week, in a car accident.  Makes me want to wrap my arms around my loved ones, and NEVER let them go!!!!!!

You never know when will be your last time to hug them, or say you love them.

Finishing...Painting the lower cabinets in the kitchen.

More on that project at Farmhouse Cabinets

Loving....Sibling compassion shown in the house yesterday.

Hannah decorated her chore board and put a message on Ezra's who had been sick the night before.  Unfortunately, now it looks like I need to paint the walls!

Yummy...My cheat meal last week.  Enchiladas, rice, beans and salad.

Thankful for...SO MUCH!!! Last week while at Aldi I treated myself to my flowers.  And loved how they looked next to all the fresh fruit.  Made me think fresh, colorful, and clean!

This Old House: Farmhouse Cabinets

This week, I decided to work some more on the never ending kitchen project.  There were 3 lower cabinets left to paint to match the rest.

10 or so years ago, my uncle was tearing down a house, and we pulled this awesome cabinet out of that house. It was the only cabinet set in the kitchen, besides the pantry above and below the sink.  I stripped the cabinet set down to wood, but it had been painted originally so I had to paint it again.

A few years later we added a dishwasher and more counter top.

I can't seem to remember to take before pictures!!!  Please ignore all the dishes.
Later, we moved the fridge to the corner, and added some cupboards on either side of the stove.  It has made canning MUCH easier!

Some day, I will get rid of the clutter on the wall, and have upper cupboards.  Waiting for the $50 garage sale stove to die first.

Someday, I will also have new flooring.  Two summers ago we bought flooring but have since changed our mind on what we want.

My helper priming the cupboards.

Projects like this take me a very long time to do.  One, we spend A LOT of time in my kitchen.  Two, baby girl has to be napping, and she is not a very reliable napper.  Three, I have many helpers!!!!!!

Excited to have yet another section of my kitchen project done.

This week I had a doctor appointment in the morning, so my hubby stayed home to watch the little ones.  So, I went grocery shopping and to the mall for a bit.  It ended up being a perfect "mental health" day for me!!!

Thinking about...

God has fulfilled so many promises to me.  I am overwhelmed at times, to think just how much he has blessed me. Far beyond what I expected.   So thankful that he continues to care for me, and reveal more promises to me!

Excited about...The deals I found Thursday, when I went shopping alone.  I picked up a new jacket, a couple new tops for myself, and a few other deals while out. I will be showing the new tops later this week, in my "What I Wore" post on Wednesday, but here is a sneak peak of my jacket!

Crafting...I just finished a DIY Hair Bow Organizer for the girls hair bows last week.  Fun, cheap, simple project, that puts a little more organization to baby girl's room.

Loving....SUNSHINE, and highs in the 30s this weekend!

Thankful for... My mom coming down Friday morning so I could take the 2 oldest kids to "Muffins For Moms" at school.  Many times I feel they get left out, since it has gotten harder to take everyone to events like that. This year, I planned ahead and asked my mom if she would be willing to come down and watch the 2 little ones.

This Old House: Hair Bow Organizer

After remodeling the bathroom a couple months ago, the girls hair bows didn't have a place to be.  So, the other night I took a few minutes to make a fun hair bow organizer.

I picked up a few supplies at Target and Walmart for a fun project under $10.

I had to hang it higher then I normally would've liked, but had to keep baby girl from reaching it!

Mother's Multitasking!!!!

Earlier last week, my to do list was crazy long!  I was leaving for an essential oils class that evening, so wanted to help hubby out as much as possible.  Multitasking was essential, sometimes it looks a little like this..bathing the baby, doing the dishes, thawing meat for supper (Yes, she kept putting the frozen ground beef in her bath water.), AND keeping 2 little ones entertained!!!!!!!!

Even better, the kitchen floor got mopped, and that wasn't even on my to do list!!!!!!

Thinking about....this great saying.  Perfect fit for me today!

Excited about....sadly, a mental health day on Thursday.  I have a doctors appointment early in the morning, and my hubby is going to stay home with the two little ones.  I'm hoping to take advantage of this, and enjoy a few minutes to myself.

Crafting...This morning, our Mom's Group had a surprise baby shower for a friend.  And I sewed her a baby blanket yesterday.  Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of it.

Loving...how my house smells.  Currently my diffuser has White Fir and Grapefruit.

Thankful for...
