Currently

The last few weeks I have been doing a "Currently" post.  It is fun for me to think about my week. To open up, and show bits and pieces of my daily thoughts, and life.  I'm linking up with Becky from Choose Happy.

Thinking about... Our chiropractor lost his 17 year old daughter the end of last week, in a car accident.  Makes me want to wrap my arms around my loved ones, and NEVER let them go!!!!!!

You never know when will be your last time to hug them, or say you love them.

Finishing...Painting the lower cabinets in the kitchen.

More on that project at Farmhouse Cabinets

Loving....Sibling compassion shown in the house yesterday.

Hannah decorated her chore board and put a message on Ezra's who had been sick the night before.  Unfortunately, now it looks like I need to paint the walls!

Yummy...My cheat meal last week.  Enchiladas, rice, beans and salad.

Thankful for...SO MUCH!!! Last week while at Aldi I treated myself to my flowers.  And loved how they looked next to all the fresh fruit.  Made me think fresh, colorful, and clean!

  1. That meal looks so good! I love Mexican food, especially rice and beans. I'm so sorry to hear about your chiropractor. I can't imagine how hard that would be. Stopping by from the currently link up!

    1. I do too! Even though the cheese and corn don't always love me.

  2. That food looks so good! I love the chores boards! Looks like what my 4 year old has done to the walls in her room. She traced the dry erase board with a prem marker lol

    1. I was YUMMY! My husband grew up in El Paso, Texas so have been taught how to cook Mexican coming from Norwegian heritage where my mom didn't even have pepper in the house!

They have enjoyed the board too. Pretty sure it is just from them erasing the boards. Even so, when reading messages like that I can't get upset.

    1. Wish I knew where the original picture went from over 11 years ago. So much has changed since then.

Thanks for stopping by Amy, hope you have a good week also.

    1. It is nice to see and no way can I get mad at them for the wall being dirty. Showing compassion to each other is so much more important then lean walls!
