This Old House: More on Fall House Tour

Keeping It Real!!!!

It's been a rough month with a bunch of trips for me.  And when that happens my house suffers.  I had to share my house the same day I took my fall tour house pictures!  What I want to remember is the first post but I also want other mom's to know, we are all human...

Some areas might look perfect, others might be covered in dust, laundry (clean or dirty), some days the house might look great, other days not so much.  It's okay....You've got this mom!!!!

It's been way too long!  Last week I took some time out of a hectic schedule and put up some fall decor.  After all my traveling in September my house needed some attention so picked a few areas to work on and make pretty at the same time!!!!

Currently 9/26

The last few months I have been doing a "Currently" post.  It is fun for me to think about my week. To open up, and show bits and pieces of my daily thoughts, and life.

Enjoying...Being home and a family movie night!   Even more special I made homemade pizza and let everyone eat in the playroom!!!!!!!!!!!

Decorating...It feels like fall in the midwest, time for fall decorations to come out.  More pictures later this week.

Trip...Headed out of town yet again.  This time with the family.  We headed to North Dakota to meet church family for an amazing day of fellowship!  Of course traffic on the way there but everyone did quite well.  Got to see our neice that got married this summer which is an extra blessing.  Of course my hubby had to pull her into doing a special with him :)  And the kids found these horses where we stayed!

Looking just being HOME!  It's been a crazy September and looking forward to a bit of a slower October!

Catching Up!!!!!

Recap for my week!

Home for a couple days from a Women's Retreat then head to Salt Lake City for a convention!  It was so much fun to get to know more people, learn, and grow some closer relationships, hear inspiration and uplifting speakers.

What I Wore...My standard outfit for the week! Swing dresses, leggings, denim jackets, headbands, and my green Converse.

With some added sass!

Planning...Post Convention event with new product.  Birthday party theme.  Yet another weekend trip!  Yes I think I might be a bit crazy.

Maybe life will slow down sometime soon.  Blogging is stuff when you're never home!!!!  When I am home it laundry, errands, cuddles, etc.

The last few months I have been doing a "Currently" post.  It is fun for me to think about my week. To open up, and show bits and pieces of my daily thoughts, and life.

Measuring...Each year at the start of school we have been measuring the kids.  YIKES no wonder my grocery bill has gone up!!!!!!!!!  This year Zeke measured at the same height Ezra did at 7 starting 2nd grade (Zeke is 5 starting kindergarten)!

Back to School...This is always a bittersweet time for me.  I'm never ready for the kids to go back.  Plus after just a couple days they seem to grow up yet again!!!!!

Laughing at...Apparently it's been awhile since I've taken the kids through the carwash, great entertainment while waiting for Ezra to be done with piano lessons.

Beginning to look a lot like...FALL!!!!  Soon I will be pulling the fall decorations.

This week starts a crazier then normal weeks for me.

Word of the Year: Content Vol 16

adjective  simple definition:  pleased and satisfied, not needing more

Once again time has gotten away from me.  I've been having a hard time sleeping lately and normally it's not cause my brain is going a million miles a minute.  But last night I did some thinking about this blog post to recap my feeling over the summer, do you think I can remember it this morning?  No of course not!

Today I'm home with just one kiddo!  Seems odd, somewhat quieter.  Always amazed at how fast kids grow up in height, age, and maturity!

I wasn't ready for them to go back, just not enough time!

When I did the board, I didn't think it through too many years ahead.  Brainstorming how to redo it to make it easier to read.

My heart also goes out to the families that didn't get a picture this morning.  Those who weren't home to witness it, kids grown up, lost a child, or haven't been able to bring one into this world!  I'm counting my blessings and praying for others!!!!!
