Currently 8/21

I've have been doing a "Currently" post for quite awhile now.  It is fun for me to think about my week. To open up, and show bits and pieces of my daily thoughts, and life.

Yard...Everything is SO green and lush in the yard, grass and weeds.  LOL!  This summer my yard has gotten away from my once again.  I hate to complain being it means good pastures and hay. Someday I will have more time and energy to work in the yard but not going to wish my current time away.

Memories...Last week I tried to take some time with each kid individually school shopping.  Hannah's ended up being a girls day with Kezia also.  So might try to make that up to her yet.  Ezra got the job of helping get all the paper supplies.

Library time...So thankful for our local library.  During piano lessons for the big kids this week, we ran errands then spent some time at the library being it was too wet to go to the park.  Kezia is sure going to miss Zeke when he goes back to school in a coupe weeks.

Celebrating...We got to celebrate a couple special girls birthdays before they move, we are going to sure miss them!

Enjoying...Last night was the perfect night to grill out and eat outside.  The kids wanted to eat on the back of Uncle Joe's pick up.

I've have been doing a "Currently" post for quite awhile now.  It is fun for me to think about my week. To open up, and show bits and pieces of my daily thoughts, and life.

Whirlwind last couple weeks.  Summer seems to just keep flying by fast and faster.  So I made the decision, I'm going to enjoy the moments one at a time and not worry about the next 'event' unless THIS one is done!

Here is my last couple weeks, one at a time....

Cousins...My sister from Columbia was in town for a week and a half.  Here are the girls in matching dresses my sister from North Carolina made them.

Games...Took time one night to sit to sit and play a board game with the kids.  Being on the go none stop we haven't had much time to just sit and enjoy games much.

Bridal Shower...These girls have sure missed their cousin since we got married and moved away!!!!

Fair...The fair always seems to sneak up on us.  Part of me doesn't want to think about it much since it tends to begin the close of summer break!!!!

Ezra learned a lot this year.  He took 2 baking projects, a sewing project which he had never done.  2 photography which was conference judged and I'm glad it was, he learned so much from the judge.  Shooting sports he moved to the next bracket so was quite happy with top whites in each of the category.  It was tough competition!

Hannah also learned a lot.  She is an Explorer this year but received ribbons.  So much fun to listen to her talk to her judge about her sewing project, rock creature, painting and chocolate chip cookies.

Family Camp...We then finished off the weekend at Family Camp.  I pretty much went phone free the whole weekend.  Spent a lot of time with the kids and enjoyed watching them interact and play so well with all the other kids.  Great messages and music!!!!!

I've have been doing a "Currently" post for quite awhile now.  It is fun for me to think about my week. To open up, and show bits and pieces of my daily thoughts, and life.

I forgot to post this yesterday.  Today is a new day, new month, and MANY exciting things happening this last month before school.  Ready, set, GO!!!!!

Reading...My daily devotions I've been reading through 'one thousand gifts' and 'Little House on the Freeway'.   I'm really enjoying the 'Little House on the Freeway' seems like I have been getting a lot of the same message of 'lady, you need to slow down and enjoy the life NOW!'.  So trying to take that to heart and enjoy the little things.

Fair Projects, Fair Projects & More Fair Projects!....This is a last week before the fair to get all their projects done.  So far, we have made decent progress.  Their food projects will have to wait until Sunday to be baked.

Spontaneous...Saturday night after having to make a late night trip to the store for supplies for baptisms the next day, we tracked down the fireworks we were seeing.  Fun little spontaneous trip with the kiddos.

Enjoying...Beautiful site by our house that we do baptisms in once a year.

Laughing at...This little girl sure knows how to get dirty and still be cute!

Cooling off...At our local pool for Family Night so they bring out extra toys!  Kids had a blast and was just what we needed to end our busy weekend.
