Currently 2/19

We have had so much to be thankful for and have been SUPER busy.  I had my gall bladder out the end of January, my braces off, appointments for Christian's glaucoma in his eye, sewing for the upcoming wedding, just normal 'County Road' craziness it seems.

Making time to commit my ways to the Lord!

Fun roller class I taught a couple weeks ago.
We have sure needed a few of these in the last month or so!!!!!!

Isn't this fabric BEAUTIFUL!
The bride she did outdo herself for these flower girl dresses.

Ezra's roller coaster he made at school.  It has fascinated the kids.  And has sparked the other kids to also try and create roller coasters.

Where has January gone?!?!?

Crazy to see that it has been almost a month since I posted.  Let's see, we have just been busy with life. The kids had off a day last week from school and we ended up with a blizzard.  But before the blizzard hit it was perfect snowman snow.

Relived some memories of making donuts on 'snow days'.

And they have been asking for gingerbread men for a long time.

Some of our drifted snow, it sure has made feeding the animals that much harder.

Last night we celebrated the birthday of a very special lady in my life, my mother in law.

Year in Review

Wow, has 2017 flown by!  Seems like we say this every year. Everyone tells you, “the older your kids get the faster the years go by”.  Well, they are telling the truth!!!!!  We haven’t written a newsletter for a few years, and thought we would hit the highlights of our year.

January was recovering time for Zeke who had his tonsil and adenoids removed.

It was also a very sad month here, with our barn being torn down.  There are plans to put a building back up close to the location, but it is a very large project.

Mr Zeke celebrated his 6th birthday in March!
Miss Hannah turned 9 in April

Spring time means baseball, softball & ragball.  MANY hours were spent at the ball field.

Then, the craziness of summer began.  Lots of pool time with swimming lessons.
Over the 4th of July, we road tripped to Houston, Texas.  We spent a week there, with family and friends, spent a day at the Gulf of Mexico, and the Clevett family reunion.
Then, we headed back home through Branson, Missouri,

where we stopped to celebrate Ezra’s 12th birthday!

Hannah and Ezra got to  go to Pennsylvania with their grandpa, ‘Papa Jack’ and visit his family.

The summer seems to end all too fast, with finishing fair projects, a week of the County Fair, Family Camp, and annual trip to Jellystone. All this gets squeezed in the last weeks before heading back to school.

Fall came, school started for all 4 kids.  Ezra 7th, Hannah 4th, Zeke 1st, and Kezia started preschool.

Christian and I snuck one last motorcycle ride in with friends, before it got too cold.

Then, in October Kezia turned 4!!!!!

Finishing off 2017 with our annual trip to Three Bears Resort.

Trip to North Carolina to see two of my sisters with Pa and Grandma.

May you have a blessed 2018

What I Wore 12/20

To keep myself accountable to getting dressed as a stay/work at home mom, I try to snap a quick picture of what I'm wearing for the day.  Sadly, I think it's been two months since I posted a 'What I Wore'.  Here is a little highlight from the last couple months.  I have been terrible at taking time to take a picture.  And I SERIOUSLY need to clean the mirror!!!!

Currently 12/19

I've have been doing a "Currently" post for quite awhile now.  It is fun for me to think about my week. To open up, and show bits and pieces of my daily thoughts, and life.

My helpers...All 4 of my kiddos like to be in the kitchen with me and help.  But I had to snap a quick picture of the girls Friday night as they help me make pizza.  There is just something so cute of them in little aprons.

Finished up...Ezra had his last basketball game of the season.  Fun to see how much they have improved in their short season!

Concert...Been a busy week.  Last night Ezra also had his concert for band and choir.

Time flies...This guy is getting so tall and mature!  Had to laugh last night when we took this picture and I realized the older he gets the more he is starting to look like me.  I 'might' have a kid in the end that looks more like me then their daddy!!!!

Making...Fun night making lip balm, face wipes, lotion bars and cough rub.

I just looked, yes it has been close to a month since I last posted.  Life has been crazy yet that isn't an excuse being my life is always crazy.

We have been healthy for the most part, which is good for a family of 6.  Even with essential oils, we get busy, too much sugar, 3 different school germs, late nights, we pick up little things here and there.

Let's see...highlights of the last month!

Thanksgiving cookies

So blessed by family on Thanksgiving day.

Our crew wasn't as big but that doesn't mean we were anymore quiet during a rousing game of Dutch Blitz!!!!!!!

God's Beautiful Creation...We have been having some incredible sunsets the last few weeks!

Family time...One night I even got the men to decorate some cookies!

Mini Vacation...Few of the kids, my sister and father in law headed to Justice, IL for a ministry weekend.  While we were there we did a mini essential oil roller class.  Miss Kezia LOVES to help and could probably teach the class!

Winter Weather is here to stay...So I pulled out the winter decor over the last few days.  Winter House Tour to come.

Stay warm & safe!
