Highlights of May so far!!!!

Well, three weeks have pasted since I've made a post!  Life has been a bit hectic here with a baseball, 4H, business trip, family vacation, and quite honestly...we're beat!  So here is a few highlights of the last few weeks at the Nelson Household.

1st Week of May

Woodbury Garage Sales, Proud kiddos with their dandelions for me, New highlights, My favorite picture Mother's Day with my youngest and my mother in law.

2nd Week of May

Neat plane in the Denver airport during layover,  BEAUTIFUL mountain in Salt Lake City with the corner of the doTERRA headquarters building, Fun window during layover in Pheonix, Team leader brunch before another class.  I'm so blessed to have such an amazing mentor and team who have such large giving hearts, who want to help their friends and families.

3rd Week of May

Ezra's 1st baseball game of the season, Hannah's "3 Billy Goats Gruff"1st Grade Play, YUMMY ice cream at Cone Zone in Owosso, Michigan, Our proud family with my nephew Josiah's graduation.

After having to choose ONLY 4 pictures from each week, no wonder I am exhausted and haven't had any spare time to make a blog post. 

Praying your May has had many blessings as well.

Currently

The last few weeks I have been doing a "Currently" post.  It is fun for me to think about my week. To open up, and show bits and pieces of my daily thoughts, and life.  I'm linking up with Becky from Choose Happy.

Looking back....Hannah's 7th Frozen Birthday Party was a HIT on Sunday!!!  And we didn't get any snow.  Full post of the party coming Friday.

Enjoying...Beautiful spring weather and the family working together to clean up the dead pine tree my dad cut down for us.

Planting...Planning out a few new flower beds this year.  We dug a few new areas, I just need to get to my moms to get tiger lilies and buy some hostas. 

Loving...This not so little girl turned 7 Monday!  We had a full few days of church, birthday party, supper out at her choice of Pizza Hut.

Reminding...These kids are only little for a short time.  Spring/early summer is the busiest time of the year for our family with birthdays, baseball, VBS, swimming lessons, gardening, yard work, and just spending time together.  The last one is probably the hardest to remember!  Since they are only little once, trying to figure out a couple camping trips this summer and other memory makers.

Currently

Enjoying...Kezia has learned her animal sounds!

Admiring...How well these 2 sometimes get along.  Zeke was sharing his apple with his little sister.

Watching...The older cousins playing "Sharks and Minnows" with their little cousins in the nice weather.

Organizing...Our bedroom!!!  I moved my bed on Sunday , what a big job!!!!!!!!  Doing the final touches still, everything was moved but not sure I like how it is laid out.  Ended up with items that I really don't want in the room anymore and not sure where to put them.  Final pictures later this week.

Excited...New shoes coming from 6pm.com!  Bob's for me, tennis shoes for Ezra and Twinkle Toes for Hannah.

Spring Time Yard Work

This week we have had BEAUTIFUL weather.  With little ones, I can't say I've gotten much done outside in the yard.  They did help me dig a couple along a couple sheds to plant tiger lilies.

We did put some old bricks in front of a shed door.  Trying to keep ahead of the weeds around this shed this year!

Seems like so much to do and not enough time!  Sheds needs to be painted, garden dug, wood chips bought, build swing set, and much more.   

Most importantly spending time with all 4 kids.  Even when at times it is frustrating to have them "help" yet so important to let them!

Laughing at...This silly little girl.  She was so proud of feeding herself her spaghetti the other night!

 Enjoying...New plant for my kitchen.  Something about fresh plants/flowers next to the sink.

New...My new driving glasses came in.  Normally no one sees me in my glasses since I only really need them for driving, except now I tend to forget and wear them even after getting out of the vehicle.

Working on...Kids have their Expo at school next week, helping them work on their projects.

Loving...Healthy, vibrant smiles, with some fun time out of the house.
