This keeps me accountable to getting dressed as a stay/work at home mom, I try to snap a quick picture of what I'm wearing for the day.
Today I realized my wardrobe seems to be either floral or workout clothes!!!! LOL

Currently 1/20
I've have been doing a "Currently" post for quite awhile now. It is fun for me to think about my week. To open up, and show bits and pieces of my daily thoughts, and life.
More snow...Over the weekend we go a few more inches of snow. The big kids sure enjoyed moving snow with the 4 wheeler. Lots of laughter was happening even though their faces were so cold!

Living Room Forts...Do you remember making forts as a kid? I know I really enjoyed it. Which is why I let the kids make them even if they are quite the mess.
Cleanse...I've set aside the next 30 days to focus on my digestive health and cleansing my body. It’s really not super hard, supplements, making healthy food choices, and water intake. Also being intentional with my quiet time, body movement and self care.

Word of the Year 2020: Intentional
Each year I try to pick a word to focus on. Some words over the past few years is Thankful, Content, Self Care, and Consistent. Have you picked a word for 2020?
As a work at home mom of 4 kids that range from teenager (high school), preteen (middles school), and 2 kids (elementary), wife of 16 year I have to be intentional in all those relationships. All 6 of us seem to be moving in 6 different directions each year. Many times I don't feel like there is enough of me to go around, let along keeping up with my own work, health and self care to be the best mom, friend & friend that I can be. Each week I'm hoping to show one thing that I have been 'intentional' about.

I've have been doing a "Currently" post for quite awhile now. It is fun for me to think about my week. To open up, and show bits and pieces of my daily thoughts, and life.
Excitement...Kezia won a drawing at our local dentist. We love Dr Conners and Dr Show, the kids always enjoy going to the dentist.
Growing up...Ezra is a freshman this year and that means high school basketball. Thursday night was an exciting night for them. Every single kid on the team scored a point!!! Ezra had 2 three pointers. He was super excited. He even tied his own tie for the first time.
Hardtimes...It was also a week full of hard things. Realized our cat that I was taking in to be neutered had a tail injury.
Same day, our well was froze which I was able to unfreeze but added to the stress.
Thursday it was confirmed he had a break in his spine that affected his nerves to release any of his waste, which lead to the decision to put him to sleep. Boy was that a hard thing but he got to enjoy time inside with the kids for a couple days.
Shout out to Pierce County Veterinary in Ellsworth their staff was amazing!
Cooping...This combo together kept me going on the hard days I had this week.

Winter Break...Each year on Winter Break we go as a family to Three Bears in Warrens, WI. Fun little tradition we started I think 6 years ago. This year the boys didn't feel the greatest so slept a lot and didn't enjoy the swimming like normal. But the girls really enjoyed the tube slides and playing games in the hotel room.
New Years Eve PJs...Another tradition. 7 years ago I started making the kids New Years Eve PJs over winter break to wear New Year Eve that we host. Ever since except one year where I wasn't home we have made them. Now they pretty much sew their own!

Little Cutie...She got glasses! During her kindergarten Ear & Eye Screening they suggested we take her in to have her eyes tested. She has astigmatisms in both eyes and I believe near sighted. Right now we aren't doing much correction just getting her eyes to relax from her astigmatism. It's been a great transition, no headaches, puts them on in the morning and leaves them on all day.

Weather...We have actually had some really nice weather after our crazy start in November! Yes a few icky days of roads but nothing that completely stopped us. All I can say, it sure is pretty!!! And I'm so thankful to have a warm house.
