Currently 3/28

The last few months I have been doing a "Currently" post.  It is fun for me to think about my week. To open up, and show bits and pieces of my daily thoughts, and life.  I'm linking up with Becky from Choose Happy.


Laughing at....This little girl really doesn't like shopping.   Last week I probably had the best shopping trip ever with her, I didn't take the stroller so she had to walk, gave her a little bag to carry.  Didn't do much actual shopping but we wandered around for a bit and did the two things we needed to do at the mall done!

Midwest Spring....This is my sons window in their room Wednesday night!  Think we got close to a foot with lots of wind.  Thankfully today there is only a bit left in piles.

  
Party...This weekend we had Zeke's 5th birthday party.  Fun filled day!!!  More to come later in the week on the Paw Patrol party details.

Loving...Daddy time with the birthday boy.  He waited very patiently for everyone to go to bed so they could put his new Lego set together!

I really like what Lysa TerKeurst has to say here.  In the Mom's Group Bible Study I attend, we have been reading through her book 'The Best Yes'.  It always amazes me how when I really start to look into a certain aspect of my life, I find the subject coming up multiple times during the day in my different devotions and readings.  

Stop and think for a minute...what do you want out of life?  Now think a little harder, will that TRULY satisfy you?  Is God the middle of what you want?  HE is the ONLY one that can truly satisfy us.  From past experience I know if I don't put him first and upmost I will be left wanting more and true satisfaction is never completely meet.

Currently 3/21

Thankful....This little guy right here!  Last week was his birthday.  He's showing off a piece of chocolate chip cookie pie from Pizza Hut after his birthday supper.

 Happy Spring...Kiddos playing in the mud while waiting for the bus.  It was pretty muddy last week, cooler this week with a chance of snow!

Habit...I try as a habit to pick up the main floor each night before I go to bed.  Amazing how walking down the stairs into the living room in the morning can set the tone for the rest of the day.

Game Night...Pulled out Lego Champion last week on a night dad was working on his car.  All 4 kids enjoyed it.  We just gave Kezia legos to build with while we played and she lasted the whole game.

Currently 3/14

Game Night... I've been single mom a lot while dad was working on his car.  Kezia was out of sorts so one night it was  Dora on the TV for her and Uno on a make shift table in the playroom.

Fun Day...Sunday the kids and I had a fun day.  Took Ezra to 4H Shooting Sports, rest of us went to the park, then out for a late lunch/early supper.  Relaxing, fun filled Sunday.

Birthday Boy...Zeke's birthday is today.  Can't believe he is 5 already!!!!!  He asked for a Paw Patrol birthday which is planned for a couple weeks.  Today he got to take snack to 4K and brought paw prints which he helped make.

Mom Moment...Look at these 3 sitting together planning out 'good guys and bad guys'!

Laughing at....Kids had Dr Suess week at school.  Wednesday was 'Wacky Wednesday'.  

A first....Saturday night Zeke went roller skating for the first time.  It will be awhile before he is on the big floor but he has a blast and very determined!

Planning....5th birthday party.  He requested Paw Patrol party which is in 3 weeks so I need to start planning.

Enjoying....This beautiful early spring weather Wisconsin is having this week!  Can't guarantee what next week will be like so we are enjoying it now.

I've been MIA last week and part of this week.  Last week, business trip to Orlando, this week still trying to get back into the swing of things.  Never seems to fail, mom is out of town for a few nights and when I get home 'someone' gets sick.  

Now back to topic....last week's trip had SO much good info on content, I'm not even sure where to start!!!!  A lot of talk about money, debt, how to be a leader, goals lead to dreams, with the main focus on
