Currently 6/19 & 6/26

I've have been doing a "Currently" post for quite awhile now.  It is fun for me to think about my week. To open up, and show bits and pieces of my daily thoughts, and life.

Apparently I missed posting my 'Currently' last week.  It was all ready so this week, two for one!

Ball time...We are still in the ball season.  So thankful for toys, playground, etc during games!

Quality time...My two oldest 'Love Language' is Quality Time.  So when Grandma had the two little ones, we pulled out the game of Life.

Cute...Look at these dresses my sister made for the girls!!!!!

Piano Lessons...Ezra has been in piano for awhile now and last week Hannah had her first lesson.  So blessed to have such an amazing teacher!

Swimming lessons....Three oldest kids are in swimming lessons last week and this week.  Fun to see how much they learn in just a couple lessons.  Zeke has started to go completely under which he won't do before.

What I Wore

To keep myself accountable to getting dressed as a stay/work at home mom, I try to snap a quick picture of what I'm wearing for the day. Another week of ball games/practice, needing to be in multiple locations at the same time, forgetting to take pictures.

Another night of baseball after afternoon at the pool!

Thankful...For an amazing group of women/mom's in my life.  I wasn't able to make the last couple of Bible Study's but then sent me this awesome 'Words of Affirmation' that they had done at the last sessions.  It made my week!!!

Currently 6/5

I've have been doing a "Currently" post for quite awhile now.  It is fun for me to think about my week. To open up, and show bits and pieces of my daily thoughts, and life.

Where have I been?!?!...Baseball/Softball Field.  Our lives last few weeks seem to be eating, sleeping, playing ball!

Ezra playing 2nd base

Hannah playing 3rd base

Fun family time at games

Oh course lots of snacks and playtime for the little ones!

Weekend Projects...We are also still working on cleaning up the barn area.  HUGE bonfire last night.  It's actually still burning and will probably for a couple more days!!!!  The guys also worked on a few other projects.

Taking time...to relax in the heat yesterday with a new Power Rangers movie.

And some playtime in the shade on the swings.

Coming up...Tomorrow is the last week of school.  More baseball and softball this week.  Followed up by a wedding this weekend with family, friends, and heat!

Word of the Year: Self Care Vol 16

Self Care: Vol 16 Dirt Therapy

What does self care mean?  Self care is any activity that you do voluntarily that helps you maintain your physical, mental or emotional health.  It can help you feel healthy, relaxed and ready to take on your work and responsibilities.

Earlier this week, the kids and I stopped and picked up some flowers to pot.    With crazy schedule this summer, an family reunion half way across the country, I wasn't sure I wanted to put a garden in or not.  Thankfully my father in law came and tilled it earlier this week.  So yesterday Kezia and I went out for some dirt therapy and planted a small vegetable garden.  Amazing how a little bit of good ole Vitamin D, dirt under your nails does for ones mood!
