Currently 10/30

I've have been doing a "Currently" post for quite awhile now.  It is fun for me to think about my week. To open up, and show bits and pieces of my daily thoughts, and life.

Where did the month go?!?!?!? To birthday's, parent/teacher conferences, lots of time in the car with kids in piano lessons, basketball, laundry, laundry and more laundry.

Monday was Kezia and my birthday.
She got to pick supper that night and she requested pizza.

Thursday night Christian and I went out for our birthday's.
Saturday was his actual birthday and he got his requested chocolate cake!

We ended up matching at church, so we took a rare picture of the two of us!

Midest has been bipolar...Last weekend it was in the 70s. Thursday/Friday we got snow!

Kezia got to try out her new hat and mittens.

 Snow Friday morning
Currently there is STILL snow on the ground!

Crazy to see the difference...The picture on the right was last September right after having my braces put on.  Picture on the left was just this last week.  So much has changed in my life and life style since last September and I'm so very thankful!

Another crazy schedule this week.  Sadly, I think it might be the new normal until basketball is done the end of December.  Have a blessed week!

I've have been doing a "Currently" post for quite awhile now.  It is fun for me to think about my week. To open up, and show bits and pieces of my daily thoughts, and life.

Grapes, Grapes and more Grapes...This year our grape vine is FULL of grapes again.  Love making grape juice and jelly even though it's quite a bit of work!

Celebrating...Birthdays October is a full month of birthday's.  Can't believe our baby is 4 already today!!!!!!

Matching...Love this girl and she showed up for the party completely coordinating with me!

Grandpa's are the best...Papa Jack loves to read.  Best way to finish off a birthday party is a book with Papa Jack!

He did good!...Sometimes as a mom, especially when you share a birthday with one of your kids, you get swept under the rug.  Tonight my hubby brought me home roses for my birthday!  And even better, my favorite, fire and ice.

Blessing to you this week.  Another busy week here with many things on the calendar.  Concluding this will be my normal for awhile.

She Loved

This morning I'm suppose to be sitting figuring out what to talk about in a women's study at a church this weekend.  Funny how when you need to talk to others, you almost always end up talking to yourself.  Or at least that is what happens to me!  I end up doing a lot of self reflection.  The more I tried to figure it out the more this song that Sherie Easter sings kept coming to me!

Someone once asked
If only you knew
How short life would be
What would you do?
What would they say
When God called you home?
What would they engrave
Once you were gone?

I hope they would see
What I've done in my life
Who I've cared for
And how I survived
I hope they'd say

Chorus:
She loved more than anything else
She loved with all of her heart
She loved everyone she believed in
She loved...oh she loved

She loved the Lord
And served all her life
A sacrificial mother
And an honorable wife
She gave all she had
And through every trial
Made life much sweeter
Because of her smile

Everyone will see
What she's done in her life
Who she cared for
And how she survived
I'm sure they'd say

Chorus:
She loved more than anything else
She loved with all of her heart
She loved everyone she believed in
She loved...oh she loved

She loved...everyone she believed in
She loved..oh she loved
Oh...she loved

That is how I want to be remembered...'SHE LOVED'.  What will they engrave when you are gone?

What I Wore 10/11

To keep myself accountable to getting dressed as a stay/work at home mom, I try to snap a quick picture of what I'm wearing for the day.  Well, I haven't posted in over a month and honestly only have 1 picture to even share of what I've been wearing.

I'm really enjoying vests so far this fall.  I'm such a cold baby and seem to really need my core to be super warm.  Looking forward to sweater weather, vests, scarfs and ankle boots!

I've have been doing a "Currently" post for quite awhile now.  It is fun for me to think about my week. To open up, and show bits and pieces of my daily thoughts, and life.

Abundance....My aunt always seems to have an over abundance of veggies.  She sent me a whole bunch of peppers!  Seeing all those fresh fruits and veggies always makes my heart so happy.

Christian and the kids went out and picked hazelnuts from our bushes also!!!

Fall Ride...we possibly took the last ride of the year on Sunday with a group of friends and family.  I was just getting over an illness but still was a BEAUTIFUL ride, couldn't of asked for better weather.

Currently 10/3

I've have been doing a "Currently" post for quite awhile now.  It is fun for me to think about my week. To open up, and show bits and pieces of my daily thoughts, and life.

Considering...Last couple weeks I have switched my focus of teaching about essential oils from being a 'hobby' to being my passion and job.  I will be honest I've had a few bumps in the road and totally bumps I've personally made.  The chart below has become what I've tried to live by and teach others to live by.  Life my become crazy busy here in a bit since I'm starting considering going to school to be a 'Health Coach' sooner then later.  My own health has taught me so much, I feel like I need to be sharing that instead of keeping it to myself.

I'll be honest, I have focused quite as much on the base of this chart as I should and that is my bump in the road right now.

Look at that hair...Hannah had to teach me how to fishtail braid while we were waiting at the eye doctor.  With her length of hair it takes FOREVER but it sure if beautiful when done!

I'm getting old...Ezra is turning into a teenager on me!  Last night he got contacts, which were his request.  Since he went through 3 glass frames in 6 months we figured he was responsible enough to try contacts and it would probably be cheaper. LOL He was excited to show some of his friends last night at 4H since he won't be wearing them to school until next week.

Silly...Somedays you have a good hair day, feel pretty and have to document it. My hair has been SUPER curly lately and feeling dry even though I haven't dyed it for a few months.  So I've been making my own deep conditioner and trying to not sure any heat on it.

Praying for a blessed week for you.
