Currently 11/25

Trying to get back into the swing of blogging again.  Sadly I find Instagram much easier in my busy life but will give this a try again.  So here's a little peek into what our life has looked like.

New Kitty...Isn't this little guy super cute.  He can be pretty annoying but oh so cute!  I need to make an appointment to get him fixed soon than later being he's definitely adopted us.

K is for Kezia...She asked me to take her picture with the K after school the other day.

Fall Flowers...There is just something about fall flowers to brighten up a house.

Weekend...Saturday night I stayed home completely alone for the first time ever I think in 15 years! Friday night it was just Kezia and I for a lazy Friday night with Bible stories and hot cup of tea.

Reflection on 2019

Apparently it has been MONTHS since I posted.  Blogger has changed, I had to log in, I feel a bit out of the loop!   Seriously, young mothers believe me when I say it just keeps getting busier as they get older.  You have less and less time with your kids.  Enjoy the chapter you are in right now because you will blink and the next chapter in your life is starting!

Highlights of what we have been doing:
Dance Recital

4.0 Honors Student
Even crazier, he will start High School next year!

Cousin time from Houston!

Followed by stitches that slightly messed up a few plans...

Swimming Lessons, Zeke started baseball over the summer also.

Ezra, Hannah & Zeke went to Pennsylvania with Papa Jack
While Kezia & I went to see 2 of my sisters in North Carolina!

And of course our last hurrah before schools starts

So thankful for these 5 humans surrounding me!!!!!!

Mini Fall Tour

Today feels a bit more like fall than I had all week, which made me realize I haven’t shared my Thanksgiving/Fall decor.  I tell ya, the older the kids get the busier I get as mom.  But I'm also so thankful that I've been able to be home with them.  So here is a mini tour!

I picked up this 'Count Your Blessings' sign at Hobby Lobby a couple years ago and I think it's one of my favorite Thanksgiving decor pieces I have.
Changed out the flowers on the top of the piano for sunflowers. This year I'm loving sunflowers for fall.

Still love my antique wooden pumpkin.

The china hutch as a slightly different look this year.  Ever feel like you need a change in your house.  Lately that is how I've been feeling.  Yet time hasn't really allowed me to do any big changes in the house.

We did upgrade the girls to bunk beds.  Figured for Kezia's 6th birthday it might be time to get her a big girl bed and out of her crib/toddler bed.  It was the ONE thing she asked for her birthday!

Coming next week...her Minecraft Birthday Party!
